Matthew Fowler, RN, MSN, AGNP-C

Matt Fowler has served in the healthcare field in the Treasure Valley for 7+ years. His focus as a registered nurse was primarily in the emergency and critical care setting at the area’s level 2 trauma hospital, where he discovered his passion for helping patients in the mental health community. He completed both his undergraduate and graduate nursing degrees from Boise State University with a principal focus on primary care in the adult and gerontology populations.

Matt’s professional interests include the treatment of substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health concerns with a holistic and integrated approach to patient care. He has a strong belief that regular psychotherapy sessions combined with the right medications helps to get to the true root of issues and achieve the greatest results. He believes that no person should feel either limited or defined by their diagnosis. Matthew strives to make sure all patients are treated as individuals in a comfortable and safe environment.

Personally, Matt is somewhat of a football fanatic with an affinity for both the Philadelphia Eagles and (of course) the Boise State Broncos. In his free time, apart from all things football, he also enjoys traveling, cooking and grilling, and spending quality time with his wife and their spoiled English Labrador Retriever, Roxie.
