Kyle Ronnau

Kyle Ronnau

CEO, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Kyle Ronnau is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and owner of Meridian Advanced Psychiatry. He formed this organization in response to the lack of available psychiatric services in Meridian, Idaho. Kyle has served patients for many years all over the Treasure Valley, and beyond to Payette, Ontario, McCall, Twin Falls, and other areas. He realized that in his previous roles, he was often referring patients with substance use to other psychiatric providers and often finding a total lack of providers accepting new patients or in convenient locations. Now centrally located just off I-84 between the Meridian and Ten Mile exits, Meridian Advanced Psychiatry is here to provide more access to mental health services for children through adults. In addition, we also provide treatment for substance use disorder for adults, all in one location.

Kyle Ronnau has worked in healthcare in the Treasure Valley for over 15 years. He completed his undergraduate nursing at Boise State University and his graduate education at Gonzaga University. He has worked in a variety of roles in mental health including inpatient, outpatient, and transitional housing.

His particular professional interests include treatment of substance use, use of complementary treatments such as herbal medicine, mental health concerns with traumatic brain injuries, mood and attention issues in children such as ADHD and ODD, co-occurring mental health in substance use such as major depressive disorder and opioid use disorder, and treatment of behaviors that span across many (if not all) mental health disorders such as insomnia and behavioral eating disorders.

Personally, Kyle has a small hobby farm to keep him busy. He enjoys raising his Nigerian Dwarf goats, chickens, and ducks, and growing a wide array of fruits and vegetables. His time on the farm is accompanied by his wife, Linze, his daughter Elizabeth, and their ever-growing family of dogs and cats.

Dean is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. He has been working as a nurse since earning his practical nursing certification from Carrington of Portland in 2011, with his first nursing job working in addiction medication. Since then, Dean earned his associate nursing degree in 2016, his bachelor's degree from Western Governors University in 2019, and his master's in nursing from Walden University in 2023.

Dean utilizes motivational interviewing and supportive psychotherapy and specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD, PTSD, depression, anxiety, insomnia, and child and adolescent mental health.
