Allison “Ali” Zartman, MSN, FNP-C, is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner specializing in psychiatric medicine, currently practicing at MAPs west Boise location. Becky Bole is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She has over 15 years of nursing experience and has worked in the mental health field for most of that time. She works with clients with mental health diagnoses and/or substance use disorders to help them improve their life and meet their goals. She has a passion for community mental health and helping individuals with substance use disorders.
Becky is also experienced in treating mood disorders, substance use disorders, ADHD, and anxiety as well as working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and individuals with various forms of dementia. She focuses not only on medication for the client but also ensuring that they are connected with all available resources to help meet their needs.
Becky focuses on the health and well-being of the individual as a whole to include discussions on nutrition, physical health maintenance, and physical activity. Medication is just one of many tools that some people need in order to be the best possible version of themselves.
She is devoted to reducing the stigma surrounding mental health, treats her clients with kindness, empathy, and respect, and believes health care should be a collaborative effort between the patient and the provider. Ally firmly believes in the power of lifestyle changes in conjunction with medication management to provide the most meaningful client outcomes.
In her free time, Ally loves skiing, trail running, weightlifting, and exploring the beautiful state of Idaho.
Brad received his bachelor’s in nursing from the University of Utah. He has over 10 years experience in multiple settings as a registered nurse, such as: post op bariatric surgery, post op cardiovascular surgery/ step down ICU, Cardiovascular Genetics, and later found his passion for mental health working inpatient, and Health Coaching. He later went to Gonzaga University earning his Nurse Practitioner Master’s degree in Psychiatry and Mental Health.
Mr. Martin was able to work with the Veterans Affairs Health System for 3 years, and found it a privilege to give back to the service men and women who have given so much to our country.
Brad continues to develop and learn, whether through continuing education, or other post degree programs in order to improve patient care. He is interested in improving quality outcomes, and equity of care with minority groups, and received a continuing education certificate specific to mental health Spanish. He is also interested in Substance Use Disorders, as well as, ADHD and mental health treatment in pediatrics.
Additionally, Brad feels it’s important to look at each patient with compassion. “After you walk a mile in another person’s shoes, you realize that you never have enough information, nor the right, to fully judge a person, and now your feet hurt after walking in another person’s shoes.” He enjoys helping patients progress towards their goals, and realize their full potential.
Brad and his wife moved to Idaho to be closer to family, and they enjoy the gem state. He has a variety of hobbies and interests, which includes hiking outdoors, music, and hanging out with the family cat.
Carmen is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor's degree in nursing in 2001, and has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in outpatient, inpatient, and school settings. After working with teens as a high school nurse, Carmen saw firsthand how great the need for quality mental health care was in our community. This inspired her to return to school in 2020 and earn her doctorate in nursing practice, specializing in mental health.
Carmen's goal in treatment is for each patient to feel genuinely heard and a part of the decision-making team. She takes the time to consider possible medical and lifestyle factors that could be contributing to symptoms, and uses evidence-based approaches to treatment including medication, coaching, and therapeutic methods.

Jarrod Crump is Family Nurse Practitioner that has been working in healthcare since 2015. He has worked exclusively in mental health since 2020 and has a real passion for helping those struggling with mental illness. Jarrod completed his undergraduate degree at Boise State University and later finished his graduate degree at Northwest Nazarene University. Jarrod treats all ages and most mental health issues including anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD and mood disorders. He has a particular interest in anxiety, ADHD, and trauma. Jarrod's goal as a provider is to maximize the support for the physiological impact that mental health difficulties have in order to support patients' ability to make further inroads on the psychological and spiritual impact. Kyle has served patients for many years all over the Treasure Valley, and beyond to Payette, Ontario, McCall, Twin Falls, and other areas. He realized that in his previous roles, he was often referring patients with substance use to other psychiatric providers and often finding a total lack of providers accepting new patients or in convenient locations. Now centrally located just off I-84 between the Meridian and Ten Mile exits, Meridian Advanced Psychiatry is here to provide more access to mental health services for children through adults. In addition, we also provide treatment for substance use disorder for adults, all in one location.
Kyle Ronnau has worked in healthcare in the Treasure Valley for over 15 years. He completed his undergraduate nursing at Boise State University and his graduate education at Gonzaga University. He has worked in a variety of roles in mental health including inpatient, outpatient, and transitional housing.
His particular professional interests include treatment of substance use, use of complementary treatments such as herbal medicine, mental health concerns with traumatic brain injuries, mood and attention issues in children such as ADHD and ODD, co-occurring mental health in substance use such as major depressive disorder and opioid use disorder, and treatment of behaviors that span across many (if not all) mental health disorders such as insomnia and behavioral eating disorders.
Personally, Kyle has a small hobby farm to keep him busy. He enjoys raising his Nigerian Dwarf goats, chickens, and ducks, and growing a wide array of fruits and vegetables. His time on the farm is accompanied by his wife, Linze, his daughter Elizabeth, and their ever-growing family of dogs and cats.
Leo is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner that has been working in healthcare since 2010. Leo earned his Master of Nursing degree from Walden University and his Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Science Nursing from Boise State University. Leo has several other degrees, certifications and accommodations that complement and broaden his knowledge and experience as a healthcare provider.
Leo has experienced broadening roles in healthcare including PSA (sitter), CNA/Nurse apprentice, nursing, and urgent care and psychiatry provider. Leo is a native to the Boise Valley and has a love and appreciation for the lifestyle and recreation that Idaho has to offer. In his spare time Leo enjoys spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and dogs. He relaxes by working on his mini farm, and other outdoor activities and had recently developed a love for going on cruises.
Mary (Hannah) Rankin is a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She started her nursing career in WV working as a medical/surgical nurse and realized most of her patients also suffered from untreated mental disorders. After moving to Idaho in 2021, Hannah decided she wanted to pursue a career in mental health. Hannah first obtained her FNP-MSN and then went on to complete her PMHNP post-maser's certification through the University of Cincinnati.
Professionally, Hannah enjoys working with a variety of patients including both adults and children. Hannah brings her expertise as an FNP to look at the entire person rather than only focusing on mind versus body. Hannah enjoys incorporating supplements into the treatment plan. She treats patients with a variety of disorders including ADHD, depression, anxiety, substance use, and many more.
Personally, Hannah enjoys traveling to new and exciting places with her husband. She also enjoys photography, hot springs, and hiking on her days off.
Matt Fowler has served in the healthcare field in the Treasure Valley for 7+ years. His focus as a registered nurse was primarily in the emergency and critical care setting at the area's level 2 trauma hospital, where he discovered his passion for helping patients in the mental health community. He completed both his undergraduate and graduate nursing degrees from Boise State University with a principal focus on primary care in the adult and gerontology populations.
Matt's professional interests include the treatment of substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health concerns with a holistic and integrated approach to patient care. He has a strong belief that regular psychotherapy sessions combined with the right medications helps to get to the true root of issues and achieve the greatest results. He believes that no person should feel either limited or defined by their diagnosis. Matthew strives to make sure all patients are treated as individuals in a comfortable and safe environment.
Personally, Matt is somewhat of a football fanatic with an affinity for both the Philadelphia Eagles and (of course) the Boise State Broncos. In his free time, apart from all things football, he also enjoys traveling, cooking and grilling, and spending quality time with his wife and their spoiled English Labrador Retriever, Roxie.

Besides Idaho, Rebekah has worked has a PMHNP-BC treating all ages in Minnesota and Florida. Rebekah started her healthcare career as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the age of 16. Rebekah has worked in a variety of settings including Long-term care, Primary care, Medical-Surgical, Labor and Delivery, and Emergency Services. Rebekah found her passion for psychiatric care after working in the Emergency department and caring for individuals in acute mental health crisis. Rebekah chose the Boise area after her husband, who was previously stationed at Mountain Home Airforce base, brought her to Idaho for a visit.
Rebekah enjoys providing an inclusive environment where all patients are welcome. Rebekah is passionate about neurodivergence and continues to increase her knowledge through certifications on ADHD and Autism spectrum. Rebekah's goal is a safe medication management plan that takes into consideration the specific needs of the individual to help patients improve their quality of life. In her free time, Rebekah enjoys backpacking with her husband and fur-children. She also enjoys mountain biking, snowshoeing, walking on the Greenbelt, eating food, and lifting weights. Her future goal is to one day finish backpacking the Pacific Crest Trail in northern California and Washington.
Shaina received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Northwest Nazarene University and has been working in healthcare in the Treasure Valley since 2016. Shaina has a diverse healthcare background, including internal medicine, cardiology, and psychiatry. Some of Shaina's goals are to decrease the stigma of mental illness, help patients attain their personal goals, and, most importantly, discover their identity and the ability to love themselves as they are. Dean is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. He has been working as a nurse since earning his practical nursing certification from Carrington of Portland in 2011, with his first nursing job working in addiction medication. Since then, Dean earned his associate nursing degree in 2016, his bachelor's degree from Western Governors University in 2019, and his master's in nursing from Walden University in 2023.
Dean has been drawn to mental health care since the beginning of his nursing career. Growing up in Portland, Oregon, and witnessing his family and loved ones struggle with addiction, mental health issues, and resulting healthcare disparity, inspired him with the desire to provide compassionate, nonjudgemental mental health care to marginalized populations such as those with addiction issues and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Dean's work as an inpatient psychiatric nurse fueled an additional passion for mental health care for children and adolescents, especially in witnessing the negative effects of the pandemic and the resulting isolation in such a critical time of development. Dean utilizes motivational interviewing and supportive psychotherapy and specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD, PTSD, depression, anxiety, insomnia, and child and adolescent mental health.
Dean spends his free time with his wife, seven dogs, and his Mustang horse. He enjoys baking, working with his horse, and learning new skills while making, restoring, and repairing various projects.

Becky has always had a passion for mental health and has explored various self-care practices such as mindfulness, yoga, and exercise.
Her awareness of the growing need for mental health professionals motivated Becky to pursue an advanced practice degree in psychiatric nursing. She went on to complete her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at the University of Cincinnati. Now, as a board-certified PMHNP, Becky is committed to providing high-quality care to individuals seeking mental health support.
